View ForumParaplegic race-car driver Ray Paprota drove his way into the NASCAR history books when he competed in the NASCAR Goody's Dash Series Georgia Pacific 150 at Atlanta Motor Speedway on October 25, 2002, reportedly becoming the first wheelchair user to race in a NASCAR-sanctioned event. Paprota first began racing stock cars five years ago when he modified a Legends Series car and competed throughout the Southeast.
