If you’re 18 years of age or older and use one or more assistive devices for mobility, such as a cane, walker, manual wheelchair, power wheelchair, scooter or lower extremity prosthesis, the University of Pittsburgh can use your help.

Rory Cooper, PhD of the Human Engineering Research Laboratories and the University of Pittsburgh would like to know about the assistive devices you use and your opinion about devices that may be available in the future. Your feedback is important to help guide future research and development.

If you would like to participate in this research study you can go to to complete the questionnaire. The questionnaire will take 15 minutes or less to complete and, if you choose, you can enter your name into a drawing to win $100 upon completion.

If you are unable to access the internet or have questions about the research study please contact one of our Clinical Coordinators at 412-822-3700.
