Penske Truck Rental is once again stepping up to help support Paralyzed Veterans of America’s (PVA) Mission: ABLE campaign.
The trucking giant donated $150,000 in June to the campaign that helps paralyzed veterans and their families live full, independent and productive lives.
The donation is the result of Penske Truck Rental’s ongoing #OneWay4PVA fundraising effort to benefit the Mission: ABLE campaign.
Mission: ABLE is designed to enlist citizens, communities and companies to help ensure paralyzed veterans are provided the physical care needed to live a healthy life, receive the benefits they’ve earned through military service and obtain job training and employment opportunities for new and fulfilling careers.
Penske continues to invite its rental customers to donate $1 to support Mission: ABLE when they rent a one-way truck. The company matches each $1 donation. Now in its second year, the campaign has contributed $870,275 to benefit PVA.
“We are grateful for the sacrifices veterans have made and we are sincerely appreciative that our truck rental customers continue to join us in supporting this worthwhile cause,” says Penske Truck Leasing Executive Vice President of Operations Art Vallely.
