A new idea is bringing wounded warriors and paralyzed veterans together on the Wounded Warrior Project Soldier Ride.
Solider Rides bring injured veterans together for a three-day event focused on healing and camaraderie, using cycling and bonds of service to help deal with the emotional and physical wounds of war.
On the first day of the ride, warriors are fitted with specially adapted state-of-the-art bicycles, including road bikes, trikes and handcycles. Warriors of all ability levels can cycle on Soldier Rides. Equipment is free of charge.
