Wonder Down Under

Fantastic Caverns, located near Springfield, Mo., is America's only ride-through cave. It is an all-season attraction. Temperatures in the cave always hover near 60F.

Because the beauty of the caverns is vulnerable, visitors tour the cave in Jeep-drawn trams. No walking is necessary. The mile-long, 55-minute tour route through the cave is brightly lighted so you can see stalactites, stalagmites, flowstones, and other countless formations.
