Patients and visitors to the Charlie Norwood VAMC in Augusta, Ga., have a new courtyard to relax in thanks to the generosity of Dr. James O’Quinn and his wife, Kelly.

The O’Quinns and several others helped open the beautiful and peaceful courtyard during the official ribbon-cutting ceremony in July.

The courtyard includes calming water features, a variety of plants, and accessible tables (umbrellas included). Located away from the hustle and bustle of the medical center, the courtyard provides a quiet place for patients, family, and friends to relax.
