After riding more than 3,000 miles coast to coast, Aaron Roux arrived in St. Augustine, Fla., on March 19. The retired U.S. Marine Corps corporal was possibly the first quadriplegic to handcycle coast to coast.

Roux, who was paralyzed (C6-7) in a car accident in 2005, began his ride in January in San Diego. Along the way he conducted community outreach clinics in an effort to promote the positive physical and psychological effects of a lifetime of integrated exercise and competition for quadriplegics. In addition, he raised funds for a variety of charities.
