PVA in Action: Legislation: High Court Narrows Employee Protections

In its most recent interpretation of the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA), the United States Supreme Court further narrowed the scope of protection afforded employees under ADA's Title I. In US Airways, Inc. v. Barnett, the Court held that an employer's showing that a requested accommodation conflicts with seniority rules is ordinarily sufficient to show an accommodation is not reasonable.
