Creating "e-cards" helps connect young Americans to veterans and active-duty military personnel.

A new Web site
www.thankyouveterans.org
enables all Americans to thank or simply connect with and write to veterans or active-duty personnel. Visitors to the site can do this by sending electronic greeting cards (e-cards). Well-wishers can select from several card designs that carry varied messages. Senders also can enter personal thoughts in a cards message field.

This article describes the easy-to-use Web site and the effect its messages have on veterans and active-duty personnel as well as those who send them.
